Submission for Don's Gallery of Terror. Did you ever feel like your bag of candy was worth more than gold?
Started off with some thumbnails, Perry suggested a variation of the candy stealing flying saucers
First did some pencil sketches and scanned them into the computer, laying down a gray background
Began putting down a value scale in black and white
Making changes to the face of the trick or treater
Adding some extra background objects in an attempt to frame the subject
Started a digital glaze of colour
Went up to finish. I should note, between this one above and the final, there was a loss of 4 hours due to my incompetence with computers. The final was a salvage attempt between 3 am to 7 am.
